
Bullmastiff
The Bullmastiff is an enormous fellow that loves to sleep and drool. They were developed in England as guard dogs, but were bred not to bite. Today, they make wonderful family dogs due to their gentle nature.

About this Breed
The Bullmastiff is a gentle giant that will surely turn heads. These guys were developed in England during the mid 1800’s. Their first purpose was to help English gamekeepers ward off poachers. They were actually bred not to bite; instead would they use their enormous size to pin down their target. Bullmastiffs have been used as general purpose guard dogs, where they mainly intimidate with their towering stature. These dogs make incredible companions. They are very trainable due to their eager-to-please nature. Bullmastiffs have an easy maintenance coat and they are totally couch potatoes. These guys can make great apartment dogs as long as you are okay with slobbery couches.
